What is the best electronic drum set?

im looking for a good present for my boyfriend and i know hes been eyeing an electronic drum set. it doesnt necessarily have to be for xmas, i just want to know what the best ones are. as longs as there not to expencive.|||the best ones are always too expensive- for example- Roland
