What are those little electronic pets that came in an orange plastic container called? from the early 00's?

I remember when I was in elementary school me and my friend had these little electronic pets that came in a clear plastic container with a top and an orange bottom, that was sort of oval shaped. There was like, a horse, and a dog, and all these animals, and their eyes lit up and they moved around and stuff. I really want to know what they were called! Anyone know what I'm talking about?|||Could it be a tamagatchi?
